Life’s Just Beachy

Like Vacation — Only Not

Webstuff

September6

Every week my domain host sends me a renewal reminder for my family website. I have chosen not to renew it since I have no interest in updating it. Actually, the site is already down, but the domain doesn’t expire until October 15.

Each week when I receive this reminder, I think about my other domains and my hosting service and have decided that I will not renew any of them when they come due.

This domain is good until January, but my hosting service is expiring soon, and over the weekend I finally decided that I was not going to renew it.

Take heart though, dear family. My family site is backed up and archived so if there is anything you wanted from there, just ask. And, I will still journal, I know how much you love keeping up with the young ones…I’m still wishing you would journal as well, but I am moving to free web journal hosting, probably blogspot, so I will send you the web address.

Take Care.

Okay, So It’s Inherited, But From Which Side?

September1

So yesterday Brother got up at about 5:30ish. By 7:30 when I got up, he was bouncing off the walls. (I wish I had that much love of life so early in the morning, but really, I am a grouch until about 10:00, then I have a window until about 2:00..hee)

His (and his sisters) favorite thing to do these days is to pester the new kitty. They lug her around, they hold her till she growls, they torment her until I scream, LEAVE HER ALONE, I SWEAR I AM GOING TO GET RID OF HER IF YA’LL CAN’T BE NICE. Of course, they know I wouldn’t get rid of her so yelling is a mute point, and they continue to torment.

So, I had just about had enough of Brother lugging the poor kit around, and asked him, okay yelled at him, to put her down, which he promptly did by just dropping her.

I tried to explain that he should have set her down gently.

To which he replied, he could not do because it hurt his back.

I said, “hurts your back huh?”

He said, “yes, it hurts my muscles to bend down.”

To which I said, “I don’t buy it.”

To which he replied, “What, is it too expensive?”

See, I know he is ours, he comes by the SAA (smart ass attitude) naturally, but my question is, is it from me or dad?
