A Small Thing
Is it so small a thing To have enjoy’d the sun, To have lived light in the spring, To have loved, to have thought, to have done…

Wow! It really has been over a month since I posted. Let’s see, the last time I was so excited (and sad) that brother was going to sports camp. It has been good. He doesn’t like it, but it is nice to have a few hours a day without him…Lord, is the boy full of energy! Sister has been here, nagging to do something every.day. but other that that….hee.
I wish I could say that we’ve done a full list of fun and exciting things, but realistically NOT! It is hot and miserable here in the sunshine state and one only wants to stay inside and veg by the air conditioner.
We did celebrate brother turning six at the end of June, we had family in town so that was fun. Then, we did the forth - a cookout for our employees - then a quiet night out front watching the fireworks over the ocean. Then, a little bit of rest and relaxation as I was sick. Then we had a wonderful friend die and attended another funeral. And probably the most fun was that we went to a party - a seventies themed party. It was awesome - the dh went as a porn star and I as a golddigger - gosh I love go go boots. Maybe some pictures soon.
In and amongst all the fun I have been crocheting. I never thought there would be something more fun that playing on the computer, but if I had to choose between the two….I’ve made a baby blanket and cap, a blanket for brother and now I am working on a blanket for our bed. I like it. Fun!
Next week, brother will be back at sports camp and sister will be away at camp all.week! Yippee a whole week of quiet days! Then the dh and I are going away for a weekend thing, then our family vacation - were doing disney. After that, two more weeks of summer - hell this has been the never ending summer, hasn’t it?
In all honesty, I’ve kind of lost my want to to blog anymore. Maybe it is just the summer thing - a lot of people seem to slow down over the summer - but, right now I am indifferent about it. We’ll see.
