Menu Plan Monday 4/14/08
I promised myself that if I didn’t do anything else, I was going to menu plan this week. Our cuppards are about bare and the kids are whining for real food….snort. Brother asked for steak and cereal for dinner last night. Poor boy.
There’s lots of chicken this week as chicken is a weight watcher friendly protein! Whoot. I’m not really doing to well, I lost two pounds the first week, and gained two this past week. Net weight loss in two weeks. (.)3 “.3″ ounces. I have managed to go back to the gym….get this….at 5:30 A.M. as in in the morning! Course, I only went twice the first week and once last week. I went this morning so I may have a pattern forming….snort.
Anyway..here’s my plan. If you make something on it, I would love to know….the Italian Turkey Sausage Subs are pretty choice. enjoy.
Monday – Pork Tenderloin (marinated with honey and Dijon and spices), Basmati rice, Brussel sprouts.
Tuesday - Grilled Chicken Salad for adults, Grilled Chicken and Fruit for kids
Wednesday – Dinner at Church (or SYS,,,serve your self)
Thursday – Gonna try again for the Slow Cooker Sweet and Sour Chicken, since we haven’t made it yet, Jasmine Rice, Egg Rolls
Friday – Italian Turkey Sausage Hoagies (adults), Hot Dogs for kids, Fruit, Chips
Saturday – Grilled Shrimp in garlic, olive oil and lemon over angel hair pasta
Sunday – Husband’s Choice.
