Last week’s menu went well. The Chicken Marsala was okay, I followed the directions on that one and next time would take liberties. We really enjoyed the Slow-cooker Lasagna, who knew. Of course, I didn’t make it exactly like the recipe…do you do that, take a recipe and make it your own? Most recipes need your own seasonings, your own love. This week we are trying a few new recipes, Halibut is on the menu. Halibut with Olives and Roasted Red Peppers…Sounds Yummy.
Enjoy your week.
Monday - Baked Chicken, Potatoes and steamed carrots
I’m making a recipe sorta like this, but my own version.
Tuesday - Whole Wheat Spaghetti with Turkey Meatballs, Salad
Wednesday - Dinner at Church
Thursday - Halibut with Anchovy Stuffed Olives, Red Peppers and Oregano, Wild Rice Pilaf, Steamed Green Beans
Friday - Turkey and Provolone Paninis, Salad
Saturday - Clean out the Fridge day
Sunday - Black Bean Tostadas
Menu Plan Monday is hosted by I’m an Organized Junkie..pop on over there and get yourself some menu ideas.

I can’t seem to resist giving a recipe my own spin, either.

That halibut recipe looks amazing! Originally from Alaska, I thought I’d had halibut almost every way possible, but this is a new recipe I’ll have to try!
Have a great week!
