I am trying a few new recipes this week. One from Cooks.com for a baked grouper, a byproduct of all the fishing we’ve been doing lately. And the other a Vegetable Enchilada from the December issue of Martha Stewart’s Good Food Magazine. The kids won’t touch this, but oh well, that is why they made cereal.
Oh, as an aside … each week I print my menu out and post it on the board for the family to see…While my sister was here earlier this year she saw it and I explained how it has helped me get motivated to cook and also has saved me money at the grocery. When I was up at her house for Thanksgiving she had started doing the same thing…she says, “It really does help prepare for the week.” You really should try it…it really does help!
Monday - Spaghetti and Meat Sauce (spaghetti squash for adults)
Tuesday - Baked Grouper, Rice, Brussel sprouts
Wednesday - Dinner at Church
Thursday - Vegetable Enchiladas Green Salad
Friday - Dinner Out - Kids: Mac and Cheese & Chicken Strips
